| The strange thing is that they showed Martha Karua on Hardtalk, but they did not show Raila shooting his foot (as usual) by blatantly lying. He indeed say that he was aware of the events where women and children were burnt alive, but his side of the story was strange…. he said that his thugs were chasing people who had raided some village and were hiding in the church. He added that he confirmed this information from a catholic priest. Where this information gets twisted, is the fact the church where our innocent children and women were burnt was an Anglican church. So where does the Catholic priest come in? This is clear that Raila was defending himself and was not remorseful of what happened.Dear Kikuyu’s out there we are praying that we shall be safe where we rest. But we can assure no one gets away with murder, even though you are from the elite side of life, U COULD BE TOUCHED. |
This is indeed very true. There is a Genocide in Kenya and the Kikuyus are the target. We have experienced alot of people and property.Despite losing their people, their businesses are being burnt down!!!
Are we going to wait till it happens like RWANDA!!! We can not allow the politicians to take us for a ride. Especially RUTO who has been inciting the riftvalley pepole to kill the Kikuyus and burn their property!!!
I am deeply angered to see young children being raped together with their mothers!!!
When did we get to level cruety!!!Something has to be done!!
We are tired of seing the STUPID politicians inciting people!!!
I am deeply saddened by the wake of events after the election. We have lost soo many lives and it now seems that the people who started all this are unable to stop. Its a pity that somethings happen just as we watch them in broad day light. I feel sick to my stomach if i imagine all the innocent kids and women burning because someone thinks they are in the wrong place and they should have been born in another place.Lets all respect human rights and stop these genocide….it happened in Rwanda …we should have learnt our lessons by now
This is indeed the greates crime against humanity. we are taking Kenya backwards. we all know nothing gets solved using wars. How daft are we to have lived in this planet and not learnt from experience or from history? Indeed we need to move forward and stop this killing!! lets just get it and digest it, no one will ever allow their land to be occupied by strangers in peace!!
The best thing now is to just stop this killing, it happened in RWANDA and so it can happen here…WE ARE NOT IMMUNE!!!
why start something you have no clue of stopping?
Kenya has been a very peaceful country for a long time. Its a pity to see all the efforts of our fathers and grandfathers who fought for independence go to drain.
Why are we killing each other? is it really worth it? Lets all remember that Kenya is me and you.Kenya is nothing with all the building and no people. Lets all preach peace and set a good example for the rest of Africa.
Lets all unite to make Kenya the most peaceful place to live in the world.
I suggest all kikuyus get together and fund their own army (mungiki) to protect there assets. (Land, businesses) If these on the other side do not believe in the demand supply theory, then i think we should go for their heads specifically. Makerere haisaidi, tuanze kazi
Its sad that sometimes we have to wait till its late to act. some things should not be let to happen at all because precautions are better than treatments.
Watching my friends being slashed to death is something that is going to torture me for quite a long time….all wat i ask why did it have to happen?
Do people loose their individuality sometimes and just do things even the crudest animals would not dare?
Alot is left not to be desired of our leaders!!!
We need leaders who will show us the right direction and not inciting us to kill our beloved neighbours. How did we ever get into this mess!!!
Its my opinion that all the MPs should be thoroughly investigated and put to jail for incitement. It is important that they realise we listen to wat they are saying keenly because they are our leaders!!!!
I agree with u totally, wat do u say about a leader who has just been elected and yet they do child trafficking in foreign countries like ITaly? they should be exposed
Hi guys,
I have not been able to eat as normal because of wat i see in my Television screen. I can not believe this is the country i was once soo proud of turned into a human battle ground. From wat is happening one may wonder where did the people of kenya go coz this is like a new generation of drug inflicted hooligans
Enough is enough, till wen are we going to let our politicians hold our lives at a ransom?
We need to carry on with our lives. They are acting like they are high on some very cheap drugs
very scaring, pathetic and just bad…could turn into an ugly genocide
Its true bro this killing is annoying and innocent people are being evacuated. We need to repent and forgive.
Some of the people like Ruto ought to be long dead ; And the Nyongo guy should realize that all peoples blood is bad not starting to talk of butchered after Nakuru stuff and all along before then it was ‘kenyans angered by flawed election’ lets get real.
You are right, who is fooling who now? why should they start panicking after guys were killed in nakuru but earlier before it did not seem like people were dying?
DO not be Fooled this ODM guys do not give a damn if a kikuyu dies
I need to make myself heard here also. It is a fact that the reason some iota of peace and normalcy was being ‘perceived’ to have started creeping in albeit surreptitiously in our glorious motherland that is KENYA is because the Kikuyu community, on which atrocity was being meted, had adopted a wait and see situation.
But I always knew that a limit was to be reached where these blessed and hardworking Kenyans had to react.
You cannot look at desperate faces of displaced women and children, sleeping in temporal shanties – that are a shadow of their posh homes – and not fail to be apathetic.
Common sense demands that you wage a massive offensive towards the aggressors.
And Nakuru and Limuru and Naivasha will bear me witness. What happened in these towns- and others- was not unprecedented.
Believe you me, for anyone to think he will succeed in evicting Kikuyus from their hard earned property without retaliation will be setting his sights too high.
He better pause for a reality check.
If we fought for independence, we can fight again even know. This time not against a colonial master but against lazy criminals who think they can rob people of what is rightfully theirs.
We are here to stay. Someone should tell Raila and his clique of war mongers.
In the meantime The Hague should be preparing to host these perpetrators of crimes against humanity. And this needs to be fast tracked. The very path traveled by Saddam Hussein should be a déjà vu to these psychopaths aka the pentagon.
The ODM pack comprises of deranged sociopaths who have no purpose in modern society.
They should be prosecuted and/or incarcerated and sentenced to hang if found guilty of this despicable acts of triggering & feeding acts of genocide.
It is a pity that when other countries are looking at enhancing their infrastructure for the future, when they are busy building investor confidence, we are busy fighting each other.
That is a hallmark of a people still living in the Stone Age.
But even people in Papua New Guinea are not doing that.
We need to rise above pernickety and forge forward.
The assignment to make Kenya a great country is sacred to say the least and it calls for a huge devotion and sacrifice on our side.
We are the change that we want to see.
But in doing so, we as Kikuyus won’t seat and observe as gangs bludgeon our people viciously. Martin Luther King junior would tell me that unearned suffering is redemptive. But we do not want to be redeemed whilst resting in a grave.
We will respond in fashion because radicals and radical times call for radical measures.
Twi hamwe mbari ya Mumbi. Ngai aturathime ithui…Na makiria ithui tu!
Kikuyus like me are deeply hurt by these tribalism. However, i am preaching peace through forgiveness of our neighbours and fellow kenyans. We can only resolve this political instability by firstly: forgiving one another as kenyans.Secondly, the government must strongly ensure that properties of kenyans are respected, and those that dstroy it are arrested and prosecuted. Thirdly, improving on our judicial system and have those arrested prosecuted faster! They should atleast take 1 week, otherwise these criminals are walking for weeks…months…even years scot-free!
PEACE PEACE PEACE
I agree with you Njeri, common sense tells me that we should all join hand to preach peace, love and kindness among other good virtues.BUT someone should teach me how i should do all this with the horrific pictures of hopeless women and their kids crying and their men being killed in the broad daylight. I am willing by all means to extend sympathy to my neighbours but someone should teach me how to.
I hear children crying in the background asking me whats happening,my whole house is full of my relatives who have been evicted.
Someone teach me how to answer my niece Shiro why she cant go home to play with her best friend Chepkoech, How do i answer her the reason why her pet had to die? How can i make her understand that she cant go to school and that she might never see her big brother
Mwangi because his head was found somewhere in burnt forest by some humanitarian group?
How?
How?
How?
Please answer me before i start preaching peace….MY HEART IS CRAVING WITH REVENGE
I look forward for the day when Kenya will outgrow tribalism and start focusing on the economic growth. We had started doing very well in las five years. Kenya was the fastest growing economy in Africa. What does that tell you?
Raila is really messing this country. He should have followed the law all along and everyone kept telling him that. Look at what his ODM MPs have got him into? Why did they plan murder of the Kikuyu community?
That is a very primitive move for a whole educated mheshimiwa!!!
The killers are not even worthy of being called human being leave alone leaders!!!
Lets stop talking like its only kikuyu who are dying. we have also lost a lot of people and property.
Most of my people have lost jobs. we are also affected and yet we believe Agwambo won. Only him can save us from this mess!!!
It is indeed sad that people are dying, but it is a great tragedy that ALL the Media Stations (Electronic and Print) have refused to call it as it is. Ethnic Cleansing, Killing Kikuyus, Now that kikuyus have started retaliating it becomes mass murder and the like Its very sad.
what can u say about this link…….http://www.kdnc.org/en/art/?311
omondi ought to realize that its people with his mentality that are carrying out the murders and looting. whose fault is it that his people are jobless? they are the ones who burnt the offices/shops etc they worked before they followed their leaders orders to uproot the ‘foreigners’ from their midst, thinking they are punishing the kikuyus. they should have known that violence is like a double edged sword cutting both ways. soon they’ll start killing each other as they have no food/jobs. we all need to realize that we cant do without each other and embrace peace. my question is, is it a crime for a kikuyu to work hard in kisumu or wherever else a kikuyu is deemed a ‘foreigner’? lets all use the common sense that God gave up and rise up above all this madness
Thanks concern for remindidng us that God gave us common sense and so did he give us strength!!
I am also wondering why the Kikuyus are also chasing us the hard working luos in central Kenya!!
why not use common sense and not revenge….two wrongs cant make a right!!
